This is a comprehensive 12-Day motorbike expedition through the rich cultural tapestry of South India. The tour begins in Chennai before transitioning to the coastal town of Mahabalipuram, known for its ancient temples and rich history. From there, you'll ride through a landscape of coastal towns, lush countryside, and aromatic spice plantations. The journey takes you to the French-influenced city of Pondicherry, the heartland of the Chola Dynasty in Thanjavur, and the spiritual city of Madurai.
The adventure ascends to the cool mountain air of hill stations like Kodaikanal and the famous tea plantations of Munnar. You will also explore the spice-scented trails of Thekkady and glide through the serene backwaters of Alleppey, often called the "Venice of the East." The expedition culminates in the historic city of Fort Kochi, where you'll explore its colonial past and vibrant, multicultural present. Arrive at Chennai Airport before 10 AM and drive to the coastal town of Mahabalipuram. After hotel check-in and lunch, explore the famous UNESCO-listed ancient temples.
Evening briefing covering ride plan and safety guidelines.

- Accommodation: All overnight stays at carefully selected hotels, havelis, and lodges as detailed in the daily itinerary.
- Motorbike & Fuel: A Royal Enfield motorbike for the entire trip, with all fuel costs covered by the tour package.
- Expert Support: An experienced English-speaking road captain to lead the expedition, along with a dedicated motorbike mechanic and a backup vehicle for luggage transport for your safety and convenience.
- Safety & Logistics: A fully stocked first aid box available throughout the tour for any medical emergencies.
What's Not Included
⌃- Personal expenses such as telephone calls, laundry, tips, and drinks.
- The cost to tow or transfer the motorbike in case of a breakdown or accident.
- Any meals not specifically mentioned in the "Inclusions" section.
- A refundable $337.50 motorbike security deposit to cover potential damage or spare parts used during the trip. This is refunded at the end of the tour if there is no damage.
- Costs incurred due to itinerary changes or delays caused by unforeseen circumstances like natural calamities, roadblocks, or vehicle breakdowns. Any such costs will be paid by the client directly on the spot.
- Any items or services not explicitly mentioned in the "Inclusions" sections.
- Tipping for the support crew (mechanic, backup driver, and guide). A suggested range is between $67.50 and $270, depending on the quality of service provided.
Important Points to Note
⌃- We require a minimum strength of 3 riders to operate one group with backup.
- If there are any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the expedition operator, accommodation costs, transportation, meals, etc. extra will be raised.
- Neither motorbike expeditions nor the participating partners/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.
- Motorbike expeditions is not responsible for any changes in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like changes in flight and train schedules, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomena, etc.
- If any group member wants to leave the group in between the expedition, then he/she has to pay the cost of transportation back from the point of leaving the tour till the main office drop.
- Group members should have to get their own riding gear. Wearing helmet, carrying valid proof & driving license is mandatory.
- All guests will be responsible for the safety and security of their own luggage. We will not be responsible for loss or damage/missing lost luggage. So carry small daypack bag to carry all the expensive things with you.
- Compensation for any damage/accident done by you during the expedition to another property/person would be directly payable to you.
- The advisable maximum size of baggage should not exceed 60 litres. Remember that you have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle and into the accommodation.
